In the 80's, along with rock star, Eddie Van Halen, three time Grammy nominee Stanley Jordan helped pioneer the one-handed guitar style known as tapping. With his first mainstream album in over a decade, State of Nature, Jordan has expanded his technique by playing the piano simultaneously while playing guitar. He explains it on Real Jazz.
